  2. Fudō Myōō - Fudō Myōō is the most widely represented of the Buddhist deities. For discussion:
    1. Many of the deities in polytheistic belief systems have specific jobs or roles they play. Based on his appearance, what do you think Fudō Myōō's job is?
    2. Based on what you already known about Buddhism, how does Fudō Myōō's job connect with the values and beliefs of Buddhism.
    3. Fudō Myōō translates to a single word in English. Based on the statue's appearance, what do you think that word is?
