Bringing Latin Words to Life! Project
Create a slide using Google Slides. In the slide, you (and your group if you choose to work in a group) must include the following:
  • A word we use in everyday language (one word per student in the group)
  • The definition of the word
  • The Latin root of the word and the meaning of that Latin root
  • The word used in a sentence (if you have multiple people in your group, then the sentence must contain each word from each member of your group)
  • A photo you have taken that demonstrates the meaning of the word in visual context (if you have multiple people in your group, then the photo must demonstrate the meaning of ALL words in one photo)
  • Use the principals of good slide-making (fill your entire space, make your words easy to read, use good contrast)
  • BONUS: give it the visual appearance of a dictionary entry
  • Submit using Google Classroom (I'll show you how to do this on Tuesday)
